Removing the instrument cluster for a Pajero

Instrument Cluster Details 1. Instrument cluster cover 2. Speedometer cable 3. Instrument cluster

1. Disconect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove any screws and detacch the cluster cover.
3. Remove the bolts holding the instrument cluster in place.
4. Pull the instrument cluster out, discontect the speedometer and electrical connections, then
remove the cluster from the vehicle. refitting is the reverse of the removal.

Instrument Cluster Dissasembly and Reassembly

1. Remove the nuts holding the cover in place.
2. Turn the cluster over, remove any screws or nuts and separate the components from the case.
3. Remove the bulb holders from the printed circuit board by turning them anti clock wise.
4. Reassembly is the reverse of the above.
